History... Computer
House Calls, LLC was founded in 1987 in Washington, DC. At the time,
CHC provided political and computer-related services for a wide
range of clients in and around the political arena. It is hard
enough advising a political campaign, but add the element of raising
money and maintaining that information on computers that no one
knows how to run or repair, and you have an issue that only someone
like Nathaniel can handle. Let's face it, this information was
highly sensitive and really not something to trust with just
anybody. These campaigns - both Republican and Democratic - needed
someone who could be trusted to keep their data safe, secure, and
secret. Nathaniel was the first and only person they trusted for
this.
Nathaniel Lack has been involved in the computer industry going
back to 1977 when he got his first email account with CompuServe. In
high school, Nathaniel created and led the school's very first
computer club. He gained fame there by creating and implementing one
of the earliest computer dating services in which all students in
the school were allowed to participate. The club also also inspired
future billionaire Michel Dell (although he was also the first to get
kicked out of the club).
In 1983, as a student at the University of Texas, he teamed up
with Michael Dell, his next-door neighbor at the high-rise Dobie
Dorm in Austin, Texas, to buy, upgrade, and resell computers. The
company was called PCs, Ltd. and after Michael dropped out of
school, it was renamed Dell. Nathaniel went on to get a degree in
Political Science and History. He became the Senior Legislative
Assistant at AIPAC and then the Political Director for the National
PAC - the largest independent PAC in the country at the time. He also created his consulting firm to provide political
and computer-related services to the DC political community. Clients spanned the political spectrum from conservative columnist George F. Will and President Ronald Reagan's Communications Director Mari Maseng on the right to President Bill Clinton and the late Texas Governor Ann Richards on the left. If ever there was concensus in Washington around anything, it was in regards to Nathaniel being trustworthy, competant and brilliant!
In the mid-90s, Nathaniel brought the business to the Atlanta
area and took the politics out of it. Renamed Computer House Calls,
Nathaniel sought to provide the quality of service that was missing
in the community. With over 5,000 clients and nearly 90% repeat and
referral rate, Computer House Calls has proven to be the best value
for the money a customer can get... anywhere!
Nathaniel has been featured as an expert in the field on CNN and
its affiliate networks, and over 100 network affiliates throughout
the US. He has been quoted in local papers as well as national
periodicals. His experience is second to none. The company partners with Ring, Nest, Hello Tech, Home Advisor, and many more - all with 5-star ratings and glowing reviews
Nathaniel is married to his wife Natalia and is the proud father of five
children, one grandchild, and another grandchild on the way!
